why is my car lossin acceleration on the uphill?

There could be a few different things going on. The first thought I have is related to a possible exhaust restriction. If the catalytic converter is plugged, you will have no power. You could also have a fuel pressure issue. An engine performance diagnosis is certainly in order - this powertrain is somewhat complex.

did you look under your car,, ? if your cat is plugged, it will be RED hot and you should be able to see it,, and yes you could have fuel pressure issues as well...
