Engine starts hard after a few cranks and idle is weak. 1 Cylinder might be missing.

The engine is the DOHC 32 valve v8 which I believe is a 4.6L. It is very difficult to start and needs some pumping of the foot feed to get it to turn over. Once running you can tell that one cyclinder is missing, but I am not sure which one. Whenever you try to give it a little gas to increase the RPMs the engine bogs down and will eventually kill itself. After applying a vaccuum line to the EGR, the engine stalled, but started right up like normal. It drove around the block fine for about 3 minutes before it began bogging down again and I had to idle it back home. The computer is not throwing any codes at all. Any idea what could be causing this issue and how to fix it? Thanks
