Brake lights sticking

Your brake light switch may be out-of-adjustment or malfunctioning. Try disconnecting the brake switch at the pedal and see if the lights go off.

I had the same problem. I replaced the Brake on/off switch (or brake position switch some call it ) and it fixed it. The switch costed $45 at Napa auto parts.
