Hello, overheating is not caused alone by a thermostat that is sticking. It can be caused by other things -- notably, the cooling fans not working, for example. Do the fans turn on? Turn the air conditioning system on -- do they run? That's a guess, but you've theoretically replaced the thermostat. It's not likely that there's a base engine problem on this particular engine. Hands on testing is valuable. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
Dave M.. buddy.. what auto parts which have moving parts, comprise the cooling system in this automobile? Thermostat. .....cooling fan? well.. my cooling fan mounts to a fan clutch which in turn mounts to the... anyone, class? the water pump! excellent, and that Water pump is driven by what? the main belt! so.. which of the devices are actual in the coolant, and cause it to flow and stop? the water pump and the thermostat. so.. if it's overheating, and you open the fill burp valve BEFORE the vehicle get hot,. running the engine and watching the fluid thru the fill /burp hole will show if the fluid is flowing or not. If the fan is spinning, and you replaced the thermos stat, and you see the fluid and it is not flowing, replace your water pump. if it's squeaking and overheating, replace the water pump NOW!
