Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Lexus RX350. If your coolant is leaking from the drain port and if it is only the drain port plug that needs to be replaced to stop the leak and no other damage or leaks are found with the radiator then you most likely only need to replace or tighten the drain port plug to resolve this concern. The only time I would recommend replacing the entire radiator is if it has any physical damage, if it is leaking, or if it is plugged. In most cases the drain plug can be replaced or tightened to stop the leak from occurring. If you need more advice, or have any further questions about your vehicle, we’re here to help.
