My Lexus RX 350 2009 started Thursday morning no problem then I turned it off to get truck out of parking spot.l went to put car in spot and it would not start it would just make a grinding sound when I turn the key

Hello, a grinding sound turning the key could be a result of something as simple as a battery failure. Have the battery charged and tested first before anything else. If you can verify the battery is good, and all connections are good, further testing will be required in the starting system.
