This trans. lag problem started at around 45,000 miles. Took it to dealership multiple times - 1st software update worked as well as 2nd software update: NOTHING CHANGED! I'm supposed to write a detailed account of how often the "problem" occurs...IT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME I DRIVE MY CAR!

Lexus RX330-I had a problem with car taking its time to move; hard shifts between 2nd and 3rd gears; hard acceleration when stopping at light. Sometimes car wouldn't move, only with slow acceleration. Took the car in to 2 different Lexus Dealers. They install software update and recommend I have the transmission replaced. What I found out the problem really is, is that there are "Rats" in the Lexus Service Department trying to make a buck off of any customer. If they can create a problem. They will. They used the Lexus Software Update to make profits off of the clueless customers. When they take your in to do the software update, this is an opportunity for them to make the "transmission" hick-up a major repair for the customers (transmission replacement). While they are installing the software update, they go in and loosen the Large bolt on the timing belt pulley. Over time the entire car timing is off, which clots both your catalytic converters, sensors, and creates a big problem of lagging, hard shift, and slow acceleration. The main reason is that someone has gone in and loosen the bolt on your timing belt. I had a repair person who fixed my RX330 show me where the timing belt bolt had been loosen and the socket was misaligned.
