After replacing battery, outside rearview mirrors do not adjust when backing up.

This happens from time to time in my rx330. I have to put the switch that indicates left side view mirror or right side view mirror flipped to either the left or right side. If I keep it in the neutral middle position my mirror do not focus down as I back up. Hope this helps.
