Can a awd motor go in a fwd 04 Lexus rx330

I can tell you that the engine -- assembly and short block both -- of the FWD and AWD vehicles have different part numbers. As a result, I have to believe there are differences that make them incompatible as a direct swap. I think you're seeing this in your efforts. Looks like there may be a difference between Canada build and Japan build also.
