What is your question?
I'm wondering...my LX got very bouncy, was told the height sensor was bad. The "part" cost approx $1000. Turns out...there were 3 parts : Rt front, Lt front and rear sensor...is it possible these ALL went bad at the same time? Or, when one goes bad, do they ALL need to be replaced? Failed before 60K miles...feeling ripped off right now and $1400 lighter...Any comments?

Your suspicions are warranted, it's unlikely they all failed, but there may be an explanation as they may need to be updated or replaced as a set. If that's the case they should be able to show you info from Lexus backing that up. Something is leading them to replace them all, and they should explain thoroughly what that "something" is.
After replacing the sensors does the suspension now seem firm. All the height sensors don't fail at the same time they are just rheostats attached to the suspension. There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their repair information from for about $30 you can get access to repair information and hopefully a good over view of hoe the Lexus suspension works and where the sensors are and how they operate. The information is year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual try http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online and get an online repair manual subscription.
NO NO No!! each sensor has to be aligned to the other. if 1 is off the car will do this! this sensor goes for 268.00 LF most of the time. all 3 go at once? never hurd of??
happened to me about 60,000 miles too. only right front needed replaced. I don't remember the cost but it was way below $1000.
Thanks for all the info...wish I had fought with the service manager BEFORE they replaced (3) parts. They misrepresented the costs by telling me it was a $1000 "PART." ( Really 3 individual sensors.) When I questioned this repair, they treated me like I was insane to even ask them why all 3 could have failed at once! After this experience, I lost faith in the Lexus dealership. I sold the car within a month and do not plan to EVER buy from them again. Too bad, I was on my 3rd Lexus from said dealer.
