Hello, You'll want to find your local smog station, bring your registration renewal notice with the barcode, and obtain the certificate from the smog station. Afterwards, follow the instructions for submission, which are printed on the literature from the CA DMV. If you feel that you are not going to pass smog, make sure you use a service that offers free retests, or reduced rate retests.
