SRS airbag light coming on intermittently as is the seatbelt indicator light

My SRS airbag light comes on from time to time. Very inconsistently. I had a new occupant sensor put in back in February but the light started coming on again about 3 weeks ago. It never comes on if someone is sitting in the passenger seat, or when it’s a warmer day. Odd. The seat belt chime started going nuts the other day too, but did cut off after about 15-20 seconds. That’s only happened once. Had a mechanic reset the sensor and it worked for a day but it’s back on again.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Cold weather. No one in the passenger seat

Hello, it does all seem to be related to passenger occupation of the seat. The sensor, wiring or calibration is in question. You'll need a proper Lexus diagnostic tool with body monitoring capabilities to see what is going on and work to correct it.
