SRS airbag light coming on intermittently as is the seatbelt indicator light

What is your question?

My SRS airbag light comes on from time to time. Very inconsistently. I had a new occupant sensor put in back in February but the light started coming on again about 3 weeks ago. It never comes on if someone is sitting in the passenger seat, or when it’s a warmer day. Odd. The seat belt chime started going nuts the other day too, but did cut off after about 15-20 seconds. That’s only happened once. Had a mechanic reset the sensor and it worked for a day but it’s back on again.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Cold weather. No one in the passenger seat
