What is your question?
I jumped the car and let it run for about 20 minutes. I was going to run errands but before I did I decided to turn the car off and restart to make sure I didn’t get stranded. It wouldn’t restart. I tried to jump it again and lights came on but nothing. I thought the battery had a dead cell so I replaced the battery. When I connect the new battery the lights come on again but it won’t turn over. No clicking sounds or anything. I thought a fuse was blown so I checked the fuses that might be related to the not starting and none of them appeared to be blown. I also tried clicking the unlock and lock buttons on the remote to reset the immobilizer but it didn’t help either. Not sure what to do…

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Lexus LS460 not starting. You’ve got an interesting situation, and sounds like you’ve checked several of the most logical things to check. The fact that it took the jump start that one time does lead me to believe that it was an issue with your battery. However, the fact that now it won’t take a jump and it’s doing the same thing with a new battery is definitely odd. I would double check the connections and make sure they are clean and tight. Also check the ground strap from the battery to the body and make sure that’s intact and tight as well. If all of that is good, then it is possible that there is something else going on entirely and it may have been a coincidence that the first jump start worked. You may have an issue with your ignition switch itself, a wiring issue, possibly an issue with your neutral safety switch. Really any number of things. It may be time to have it checked out by a shop with Lexus experience, they should be able to narrow in on what’s going on pretty efficiently.
