I have a 1996 LS400 & the ABS light is on

I have taken it to 3 different mechanic shops/ brake shops. 1 said they couldn't get a code & the other 2 had no clue.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, For the ABS system on this vehicle, you may not be able to use widely available code reading devices. A Lexus diagnostic tool for the system may be required. Also, there is an alternative method of getting trouble codes from the data link connector and getting flash codes. Best to invest in a good shop manual for the vehicle to move forward, or consult a more experienced, knowledgeable technician with proper tools.
