gas fumes in car

What is your question?

My 1991 lexus LS400 has gas fumes in trunk and cabin. took new gas cap off last night and it took over 50 seconds for the back presure to stop. Is this normal? What is it going to take to fix this and what is the problem?

Sounds like your fuel tank vent valve is defective. Can't say how much because I can't see the car, but Lexus do have issues with their Vent Valves.
