ive also been losing oil somewhere. I change the oil on time every month and lately when I check it it is too low. i popped off the valve cover and took a look and oil is in the channel where spark plgs are.

you have to get the seals re done. possible cause is oil foaming. getting air some where you shouldn't be.

Will a compression test tell me anything? Mayybe where the leak is?

maybe. sounds like it is being consumed. notice any spotting where u park? if so, u have to get it on a lift to find it from underneath. should bring it in to shop and get tech. hands on look. get diagnostic run.
