Why does my car have no seatbelt chime or open door chime

Hello, do the inside lights turn on when you open your door? If not, it could be all related. The door opening switch controls inside lights and the door opening chime. The seat belt chime is definitely separate. Does the seat belt indicator come on the instrument panel with the seat belt not attached properly?
