What is your question?
Hello guys! question for a Lexus IS 250 2007 model I have recently had some issues with check engine light turns out it was some sensors that needed to be replaced ! Then after having that solved just a few days later as I was driving suddenly my radio screen started flickering and as I was making a left turn at the time my steering wheel freezed thankfully not too long and I was able to move along! It seems now trying to steer right or left the steering wheel locks! Not all the time though! I had a diagnostic done at my nearest Toyota continental dealer and they said it was the battery! We changed the battery also placed battery brackets to make sure the battery doesn’t move around but had no luck! After paying almost 500$ just for the battery and diagnostic and another 1000$ or more on sensors I still don’t have a car! I took it back to the dealership letting them know I still have the same problem and they said they can’t find anything wrong!any idea what is wrong or what can I do?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Turning right or left
How long has your 2007 Lexus IS250 had this problem?
A few weeks

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. My advice to you is to be persistent with the service management at the dealership. If you are saying there are problems actively occurring, I can say that they should pretty easily be able to get to the source of the problem. It's basic troubleshooting. An active electric power steering issue should be something that can be duplicated and diagnosed. The timing of the check engine and sensor repairs along with the new concerns seems to be interesting -- one wonders if a wiring issue is present that may be related to the previous repairs. I cannot find a correlation of the radio screen concern with the electric power steering concern very easily; perhaps they share a common ground? This requires some good research by a skilled technician with workshop manual and wiring diagrams available as resources. Being that you've already invested a lot of money at the dealership shop, I'd attempt to stick with them to resolve the problem and hopefully get some financial assistance.
