Sound system doesn’t always work

What is your question?

When I start the car sometimes the sound system (Radio and C D player) won’t come on. Then I will start it again and it will come on. Sometimes it won’t come on until I start it several times. I can’t imagine it would be a fuse since. It will work off and on. Once it comes on it will stay on until I turn the car off and start again.

What makes this problem better or worse?

It’s intermittent.

A system that works intermittently definitely alleviates the fuse as the culprit. To me, it sounds like an issue internally with the audio unit, or perhaps the software too - either way, requires a car audio or Lexus specialist to investigate.
