Dealers said 90k,
I waited till 145 and had them do the timing belt and water pump then. It was $1100.00 US
The mechanic who did the replacement said the belt was "glazed and cracked". So it was time.
He said he "cried" it was that tough of a job. I would recommend doing the timing belt at the manufacturers mileage of 90k.
I read into it and it seems that the belt if it breaks for this type of engine will more or less destroy the top part of the engine if the belt fails.
So I am of the mind set pay up now or pay a whole lot more later.
