Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. No, calipers in themselves will not cause a vibration braking. The only real cause of rhythmic vibration when braking is brake rotors that are out of round. Did you change all four rotors? If not, the two you did not replace could be causing vibration. If you did change all four - one or more of the new ones could be causing the vibration out of the box. You'll need to have them measured and checked for runout.
