I don't see P0404 available as an option for a GS300 according to shop manual information. Is this a 2006 Lexus GS300 you are asking about? P0404 indicates a problem with the EGR reading. Diagnostic testing is required to find out what is going on. I'm just not sure that it applies to a 2006 Lexus GS300.
