My 1999 GS300 starts at times and at times will not. what could be wrong?

when it does not start do you turn the key and hear a click then nothing,but when it starts it starts up fine?if thats your issue its the starter solenoid, get one from amazon and replace your old solenoid.But unless you have some knowhow on diy repairs you will need a manual
