What is your question?
I have a 2007 Lexus ES350 and was wondering if it has a timing belt or chain. I need to know for my 90K service.

The engine for the 2007 Lexus ES350 has a timing chain not timing belt ( which should reduce the cost of your service, FYI). I would suggest changing the transmission fluid and brake fluid even if Lexus doesn't recommend it at 90k.
Hello your vehicle has a timing chain not a timing belt and this service cost can be found on REPAIR PAL.COM and it should cost less not having to replace the timing belt.HAVE A BLESS DAY from DR. RECO.
When does the timing chain get changed?
the timing chain should last the life of the engine now that doesn't mean the engine will last forever you have to make sure to take care of it but aslong as you are doing your oil changes and maintance properly the chain should never have an issue anyone that tries to tell you to change it at a specific mile market is full of it BS
According to my mechanic, the timing chain generally does not need to be changed for a long time unless something extraordinary happens. Generally, timing belts get changed around 90K - 100K depending upon the car. However, a timing chain needs to be changed if the chain gets 'stretched' or loses tension. Personally, I am not sure how I would know that. I believe a good mechanic can 'hear' it as the engine REVs or he would simply know your car over time. Alternatively, I would say let your mechanic periodically drive your car around the block, so to speak, once it crosses the 100K mark.
Anything else at 90K? What should be the approximate cost of a 90K service?
There is all kinds of advice out there NOT to flush your transmission. They suggest to drain and refill, which leaves a lot of fluid in there. I will add this: put the transmission in reverse for about 5 seconds, shift to park and turn off engine. This will backflush the filter but leave it in the pan. After a week or so, do it all over again and your fluid should be about 70% renewed.
