What is your question?
Outer casing of headlights is foggy. I have had the buffed a few times. Lights are dim at best.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The outer casing is foggy on the headlights. I have had the plastic buffed a few times but I am wondering if they need to be replaced.
How long has your 2005 Lexus ES330 had this problem?

I've been down that same road! It's because they are plastic and the heat from the bulbs and the sun causes that. I did the same thing, cleaned, buffed came right back a few months later, most all vehicles do the same thing unless they are glass, which is rare unless it's a vehicle from the 70's-80's-or early 90's or so.I have a 2000 model Truck and jumped on ebay one day and found a good deal on the headlight assemblies and the cornering lights( Pilot) for it and bought them and when I installed them I also found some SilverStar ULTRA bulbs on ebay at a very good price and installed those also. I could not believe the difference it made! They still look new and i have not cleaned them and it's been 7 years now! Now,you may not find as good of a deal as I did for less than $50.00 for my ole FORD,because for some reason they are proud of anything that starts with LEXUS! If you were to go to a local parts store, each side will run you from $260.00-$400.00 each, depending if Halogen bulbs or HID bulbs. good luck....
Would have to see them? I provide a service that Warranty's for 3 years about 160.00, new lights must be 500 each+/- A&R Auto Repair Villa Park 630 834 6790 Pete
