when car is cranked, there is a thumping noise from rear side of car.

What is your question?

Also, the car shakes a little. Once started, the noise disappears. What I am suspecting that the car once jumped off a pot hole on road, and it must have damaged the the support for tail pipe/silencer. Please advise.
