I can't open the trunk with the dashboard button but can open the trunk with the key.

my 2002 did the same thing. my wife and i had pack the trunk for a trip and must have packed to much. we must have pulled the wire at the latch loose, i wiggled and moved it around and the interior button started working and has ever sence.. good luck
The button inside the glove box may be accidently turned off.
