Are you charged for each spark plug when replacing

Hello, spark plugs on this vehicle air somewhat expensive to replace, taking over 3 hours of technician estimated time to complete. Each coil must be removed to access the spark plugs. The cost factor doesn't seem out of line, and figuring that there is more to the story too. As far as WHY you are replacing the plugs - unknown as to whether there is value to that or not.
