136,000 miles changed spark plugs and coils, runs smooth plenty of power. This lexus get poor gas mileage 14-17 miles per gallon, manufactur list much higher fuel economy Is it possible timing is off by one tooth. I'm not aware if previous owner changed timing belt. Any suggestions?

Hello, EPA estimates 17-24 MPG for this vehicle under ideal conditions. I don't think 14-17 is out of line, depending on what style of driving is performed. I think if the timing belt was off, you'd have many more problems. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops See a local shop near you for guidance.
