When I turn on a/c button it blows cold but then starts flashing on and off
What is your question?
When I turn the a/c button on it starts out blowing cold but then after a few minutes it starts flashing on and off and then shuts off. When I turn it back on it blows cold again but then eventually turns off again. It has never done this before and I have owned the car since 2010.
What makes this problem better or worse?
it's worse when the engine is warm

Since the flashing is occurring after the system seems to be working, it would appear that the system is initially functioning properly before something happening causing a problem with the air conditioning system's operation. This can be due too something electrical, like a clutch coil issue at the compressor, a cycle switch issue or something else.
Hands on testing is needed to find out what's going on.
