Lexus don't manufacture every single part for the cars they make. Many of the parts they use are readily available from after market sources. Electrical components like alternators and starters are made by Nippon Denso, the spark plugs are Denso or Denso platinum (don't use Bosch), a Wix oil filter is very good, spark plug wires by NGK or equivalent are great, distributor cap and rotor that are OE equivalent not the cheaper copies are in the long run a better option. The fuel filter and air filter are important to change I don't have a preference once you do change it periodically. Engine oil if changed every 3,000 miles any popular brand is good, synthetic oil to me sometimes does not justify the cost if you change the oil every 3000 miles, Lexus did not specify synthetic oil for that engine any way.
