Check the basics, i.e. spark plugs, plug wires, coils, vacuum leaks. Also did you let the gas get really old, because that can cause running problems as well, the gasoline of today is 10% or more ethanol which means that it really attracts moisture, which can ruin your gas if the water content builds up too high. these are a few things to check
