What is your question?
My 2023 Kia Sportage has been vibrating when driving at highway speeds for a few months now. It is mainly in the steering wheel, but the entire car rumbles. Whenever I press on the gas the shaking worsens and then settles. When I am driving slower, like when I just pull out of my driveway it feels like I am driving over little speed bumps. We bought the car in February this year used from a ford dealership. We drove it around for months with no issues. We don’t have the ability to spend an arm and a leg to fix it, but we want to get it fixed, and need to know where to look at for the problem.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It’s worse when accelerating or slowing down.
How long has your 2023 Kia Sportage had this problem?
More than a month

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. How many miles are on your Kia Sportage? If you are under 60,000 miles, you still have powertrain warranty coverage. There's a chance that your concern could be due to one or both front axles vibrating. These parts are covered under that powertrain warranty if they have failed. Alterantively, you could have a problem with wheel balancing - which is correctable. Or some other concern that requires hands on inspection to figure out. Too hard to know without performing a hands on inspection. Since it's on acceleration or deceleration - i'd be hopeful for an axle issue first. Have this checked at your local Kia dealership. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
