Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your Sportage’s rear end is fishtailing when you hit bumps, there could be an issue with the suspension or alignment. Even though you had an alignment done recently, the rear suspension components (like shocks, struts, control arms, or bushings) may be worn or loose, which can cause instability. It’s also possible that the alignment wasn’t set correctly or has shifted. I’d recommend having the rear suspension and alignment rechecked as soon as possible to avoid further issues, especially since it's getting worse. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
