Hello, hard to explain the noise you heard and the failure you have unless there was some kind of physical damage that has occurred? Basically, hands on testing is needed. Does it have power at the actuator? If so, and the actuator does not work, then it will need to be replaced. If there is no power, testing will need to continue in the circuit.
