kia sportage wont start. Has no check engine light on.Battery already replaced

Driving down the road my kia sportage just completely shut down. No type of check engine light has been on at all. Already replaced the battery still wont come on. Before battery was replaced tried to get it jumped but it would not come on at all. When I turn the key it tries to come on but wont then just makes a click type of noise. Hasn't had any previous leaks noises or check engine lights come on.
