What is your question?
My 2008 Kia Sportage will intermittently stop accelerating while driving. I had this same problem before I changed the two catalytic converters and the associated sensors on the car. It still occasionally stops accelerating while driving.
How long has your 2008 Kia Sportage had this problem?
a couple of months

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Changing your catalytic converter's and associated sensors is not a repair procedure that will address a lack of acceleration while driving. What was the cause of doing those repairs? Diagnostic testing is required to find out what's going on with the lack of acceleration. My educated guess - it's either going to be a throttle body concern or a transmission concern. Could be sensors related to those areas as well, but when you don't have acceleration it has to do with the areas that create acceleration in the first place.
