What is your question?
I replaced the serpentine tensioner and now my belt slips when even just a little wet. Was fine no slip until the tensioner was replaced. Tried another in case it was faulty and still slips

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Sportage. There may be a few issues at play with the serpentine belt and tensioner. If the belt wasn't slipping before the tensioner was replaced, it could be that the new tensioner isn't applying enough pressure to keep the belt tight. Check the alignment of the pulleys as well; if they're not lined up properly, the belt can slip, especially when wet. Another possibility is that the belt itself is worn or damaged. If it has cracks or is stretched out, it may not grip the pulleys as effectively. Make sure you're using the correct type and size of belt for your model, as using the wrong one can also cause slippage. If the problem persists, having a mechanic take a closer look to ensure everything is functioning correctly may be beneficial.
