how do I check the transaxle fluid level on my automatic transaxle

Your owners manual will have that info. The manual transaxles I believe had to have the speedo drive gear housing removed for level inspection but your auto unit should be able to be checked with a dipstick under the hood marked AUTOor TRANS. Normally have to have the fluid warm to get correct reading.

It's a dipstick for sure on the 2wd automatic.
