Electrical power to radio not working?

There is a 10Amp fuse in the fuse box marked "Audio", and a 10 Amp fuse marked "AV" in the passenger compartment fuse box that supply power to the stereo. Check that these fuses are OK!

Check the plug behind the radio be sure it's tight. check the ground. if you have a test light test to see if power is going to the wire plug at the radio. some times they just quit

I had this same problem with my 2006 sportage and how we fixed it was by opening the driver's side panel and pulling out the power connector fuse (yellow) out and pushing it back in. Hope this helps.
