My sportage is idling too high replaced the throttle positioning sensor,mass air flow sensor & idle air conrol sensor & still idling too high what else coule be wrong & now it seems like it doesn't want to move after it has been sitting too long & it kicks in when i put the gas peddle to the floor & sometimes it takes a few before it will turn over. have put enough money into this vehicle can put much more.

Hi, did you have any trouble codes stored in the computer? Did you find the problem yet?
Had an issue with my 01m Kia doing the same thing... check for a vaccum leak.
hi everyone sorry i forgot i wrote this issue just wanted to let you know i traded it in this past April for an 08' Chevy Colbalt & I traded in time they said it would not have passed inspection as the frame was very rotted But thanks to all of you w/ your ideas of what could have been causing the issues on that vehicle ...Thanks again Vicki

No we have not found the problem yet ran out of money so i am still driving it in this condition unfortunately.
Sorry to hear it. If you can get the diagnostic codes that are stored in the computer and post them I might be able to give you some free advice. Some parts stores will check the codes for free.
