when i start my kia sportage
What is your question?
its starts fine but when i put it into drive it shutters then dies its starts up again with no problem can u please tell me if its the gearbox

sounds like the converter could be locking up too early check Utube to see if it has a tcc solenoid (trans converter clutch) if so check for codes and solenoid operation

Key way is broke that holds the cam in place. Less than $10 for the part to fix. I would replace timing belt since you have to pull it off to get to the cam.
