Hello, The engine idle being low is an obvious sign that there is an issue with the engine. This may be that the air filter is clogged, the idle air control valve is leaking or not letting enough air into the throttle body when the throttle body is closed, or there may be one of a dozen more issues. The thing to remember is that adjusting the idle on a fuel injected vehicle is not the same as a carburetor, and the low idle will just return as the issue gets worse.
