well, ac starts well when first started then after running few miles, cooling starts dropping when I am stuck in traffic at low speed. I turn off the ac as it s blowing hot air. then little later I turn on ac again the cooling comes on again but few minutes later the warm air starts blowing.

Hello, there could be a few things happening here, but it sounds like your system may be low in pressure from a lack of enough refrigerant. There could also be an issue with the electrical portion of the system, the compressor coil and clutch or the cycle switch. A hands on diagnosis is necessary to determine what is going on.
