I advise just ordering one from amazon.com, asking someone to drop it off, or any other way you can do it without driving it.
One plug not firing or holding compression in that cylinder puts the crankshaft bearings at uneven pressure, and is dumping fuel into your catalytic converter.
Will it make it there and back? Probably so. Will you have problems, maybe, maybe not.
You can have the thread repair kit overnighted. It is safer.
