have the motor checked first. it sounds more like a motor problem than trans problem. Roy

I have a 2002 kia spectra gsx and I have problems with the Drive gear. It revs to 3000rpm and sometimes 4000 rpms before it will drive, what could be the problem? Every other gear works just fine.. PLEASE any suggestions!!!!
