What is your question?
Car wouldn't take gas. Mechanic replaced vapor and vent solenoids, purge control valve and evap control cannister. This solved that problem but the next day car started randomly idle stalling after it has been out on the road (UBER) for 5 hrs. Also when this starts happening, car also stalls when I stop. Always re-starts. Mechanic says my idle stalling issue is unrelated to the evap replacements. When I google the issue, it's telling me yes it's possible these faulty evap components can cause idle stalling. Mechanic is very reliable. He'd gladly replace any faulty parts (they're all warrantied anyway) but with no check engine light, this is difficult to prove.
What makes this problem better or worse?
it starts happening after 4 - 5 hrs of UBER start and stop driving.
How long has your 2016 Kia Soul had this problem?
1 week, since recent evap component repair

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Your question is tricky to answer because in theory, if your system which cannot vent properly could create a fuel delivery issue. However that's a wild guess based off of circumstantial evidence at best. My suggestion would be to have diagnostic equipment hooked up to the vehicle at the time the vehicle is experiencing the symptoms to determine what is happening. Is there a fuel delivery issue? An air intake issue? Exhaust restriction? It's all guessing until we can see what element of the formula to run your vehicle is missing. If you find out it is a fuel delivery issue, then you have to look at fuel pressure and the contributing factors to a lack of fuel delivery. It's very true that with no trouble code it's going to be difficult to figure out what's going on. It's also very true that fuel delivery is one of the things that doesn't throw codes. A base engine fuel pressure test and leak down test is in order. Checking for air intake leaks or vacuum leaks can't hurt either. Getting a second opinion from another technician would be helpful.
