How do I drain the transmission fluid and refill it 2012 Kia del Sol

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Kia does not recommend changing transmission fluid for the 6 speed automatic unless used in "severe duty". Keep that in mind. If you are having transmission issues, fluid changes may have no influence. If you change the fluid, you remove the drain plug and drain what comes out. Then, you fill through the eyebolt, per the workshop manual.
