been having rough engine issue for a while and check engine light never comes on.
problem comes and goes.
problems include:
The very first moment of pressing gas pedal isnt smooth.
Engine feeling slightly louder, rough, weaker.
Slight drop in mpg.
Car makes a hiccup? hammering? (feels like loose screw on rotor?) when stepping on brake.
car sometimes feel different after filling up gas.
someone told me to use premium gas and i notice the problem improves.
after using premium gas for couple months, engine, transmission, brake feels smoother.
it feels like problem healed a little but 2 new symptoms appeared.
engine makes little bit of whining noise.
starter feels too strong when weather is cold.
the only thing showing up on obd2 is vvt monitor bank 1 fail. no code.
everyone give me different answer, dirty gas tank, fuel pump, ignition coil, vacuum leak, etc...
what is the problem? i suspect problem is related to gas. maybe not.
if i continue driving like this can it damage anything?
