What is your question?
2010 Kia Soul 2.0L engine, flushed cooling system, flushed heater core directly ( runs clear both ways) replaced thermostat, belt and both top rad hoses. Still blowing cool air until the rpms are over 2500 then you will get some heat. Heat gauge comes up to normal temp. One heater hose is hot the other is just warm. Would the heater core still be partially plugged or would it be a weak water pump? TIA
What makes this problem better or worse?
As the RPMs get higher you get some heat
How long has your 2010 Kia Soul had this problem?
A few months

I do not think your water pump figures in. If you have a really hot inlet hose to the heater core, but the outlet hose is not hot -- then yes, you have a heater core problem. I can't explain how it "runs clear" if you have a temperature difference in versus out. It sounds like your thermostat is sticking open, or is too cold for the vehicle. But that's a wild guess based off something you said. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
